Olivier Permezel has been editing images for more than 30 years, having worked with industry leading businesses including Carrefour, Champion, Korloff, Legrand and many others. Forward thinking, Olivier knew how to integrate the transition from film to digital.

As an avant-gardist, in 1999, Olivier had a crazy idea: send his images to the other side of the world through networks and the internet in order to reduce production costs. He collaborated with Krousar Thmey, a Cambodian NGO, providing hearing-impaired individuals with ah job.

Once the the concept was imagined and put in place, Clip It was born.

It was then that united team was born! Mia, who was enticed by this crazy concept, joined the team from the get go as the General Manager. Dana joined the team from Romania in 2005. Mia and Dana are your talkers: they manage your post-production and control the quality of your images that are edited in Cambodia. Chanthy manages the production and quality control in Cambodia.

There was no question when it came to offering a completely digital service. We are online 10 hours a day, communicating with our international customer base, answering questions and requests.

At Clip It we speak French, English, Italian and Khmer. Our team, which is made up of 50 operators who are there for you throughout the post-production, ensuring all deadlines are met and your needs are met.

Infrastructure and networks

Due security reasons we cannot discuss our digital infrastructure, our experience in file transfer has allowed us to optimize this constraint of vital importance in file exchanges.

To put it simply, we have several servers on Datacenter with a bandwidth of 10 Gigabytes / second, which allows us to:

• Receive and open your images whatever their size or formats
• Send and receive images automatically from and to your server – all you need to do is assign us an FTP account
• Use and transfer protocol: Rsync, FTP, webdav, Appletalk, etc…
• Offer a free and personalised server which you can can access locally
